Liddy Ann's Blessing

Liddy Ann was blessed on Sunday October 19th 2008 at the Gardner Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burke gave her a beautiful blessing that promised a healthy body free from disease, a mind that will be open to learn, and a spirit that will be receptive to the Lord so that she can learn and do the things that will allow her to return to live with her Father in Heaven. In these troubled times he asked the Lord to bless her with the ability to make wise and righteous choices, choose good friends and find a righteous mate so that she may fulfill her purpose of being a a wife and mother in Zion. I know that his words were inspired by the Lord and will be fulfilled as she grows in righteousness. Liddy Ann looked beautiful in her white dress and she truly was angelic no tears!!! Burke's mother Kathleen and our friends shared the special day with us. I was so grateful for their love and support. It was a wonderful day.

Jennah's 5th Birthday

Jennah is so excited that she is finally five! She has been looking forward to her birthday for months and thanks to all our family and friends it lived up to all her expectations.

We threw her a Halloween Dress Up Party and she picked her witch costume out on e-bay. She looked so cute and all her friends came dressed to the nines.

After much consideration and looking at lots of pictures Jennah selected her cake " a white cake with pink frosting, strawberries and Halloween suckers on top."

Her presents were so cute and it was special treat to have gifts and cards from Grandparents, Aunts, Great Grandparents, and Cousins.

We made cute ghost wind socks and had a mummy wrapping contest.

Vote Yes on Proposition 8

Although I live thousands of miles from California I am a HUGE supporter of Proposition 8. I have seen first hand the effects that legalizing Gay Marriage has had on families her in MA. Children in the public school system are being exposed to "gay friendly" curriculum as young as Kindergarten. That will be my daughter Jennah in one year coming home asking me why some kids have two mommies..... Once the definition of marriage is re-defined by the State they can then force that new definition upon ALL of us, taking away our freedom to teach our children according to our own beliefs. How do I know..... Check out a a story about our friends the Wirthlin Family at www.sillylaws.blogspot.com . The site is run by my Dad Jerry Craven who is also a supporter of Proposition 8. He is a film maker who volunteered his time to direct a television commercial exposing the true nature of what legalizing Gary Marriage means for the majority of Americans who support freedom and family. You can watch the commercial on you tube. We are trying to get as many people to watch it as possible so it gets a high rating and the message can be shared with everyone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ko2-EQss0V4
I want to have the freedom to decide which morals and values I teach to my children and according to the state where I live I do not have that right. Don't let that happen any where else in this country!!!! YES on Proposition 8!

Gotta Love the Dollar Store?

I have a love/hate relationship with the dollar store. I stopped in the other day to pick up some thank you cards and batteries and $20 dollars later..... On the other hand I love the dollar store because where else can you get fairy wings and crowns for a buck.

Look Mom I Can Fly! (and she can pump all by herself)

Pretty Fairies

Jennah is making sure Liddy Ann has some fun too!
