***Happy Birthday Liddy***

We celebrated Liddy Ann's birthday a few days early since Burke is at High Adventure Camp with the Scouts today. Jennah and Susanna were fantastic helpers and we put together a simple but cute party for Liddy. The girls designed a cake, picked perfect balloons, shopped for presents, decorated party hats and helped me straighten the house. Our friends the Brimhalls came over for a piece of cake and brought Liddy a cute gift. Thank you to everyone who mailed presents and sent cards. She loved all her gifts. Liddy was in a great mood and I got so many cute pictures of her. I hope you can feel a part of her special day as you look at all of them.

Happy Birthday Liddy!!!

Biddy is ONE!!!

My heart breaks a little when I think about my baby girl growing up but I also love the grown up girl Biddy is becoming. She is very active. She follows the girls around the house, finds her favorite toys and gets into plenty of mischief all on her own. She is right on track to say her first word as she loves to "sing" along with us and copy all the sounds we make. I think her first word will be banana since they are her favorite food. She can eat two whole bananas in one sitting. We are trying to transition to whole milk but she can tell when I mix it with her formula and sends the bottle flying so we will keep working on it. She has began to express some definite opinions and when she doesn't want something you know it! Most of the time she is easy to please and fun to play with.

The girls are slowly adjusting to having Biddy on their play level and share their toys with her. They love to make Biddy laugh and have a repertoire of silly songs, dances and expressions that put her in stitches.

She is still a Daddy's girl and when he comes home I cease to exist. He can't leave her alone for a minute without her breaking down in sobs. She loves to snuggle on his shoulder and give him hugs. It is so cute.

Biddy and I have fun singing songs, reading books and taking baths. I love how she puts her feet up so I can put on her pants when we get dressed, wakes up happy every morning, climbs up on my legs when she wants me to hold her, giggles when I give her kisses, falls asleep in her sleepy wrap, and is now and forever my Biddy.

Doctor Day

I took the girls in for their yearly physical and we actually had a lot of fun. J..... was a great example for S....... who happily played along and completed the physical with minimal fuss. (she still doesn't like the doctor checking her mouth and ears) I thought they looked pretty cute getting their tests done.

Here is what Biddy did at the Doctors

Getting a "hug" from the blood pressure cuff

J....h
Height: 43"
Weight: 42 lbs
Vision: A little "fluttery"

S.....a
Height: 37"
Weight: 32lbs
Vision: (one silly pun was enough)

Speaking of silly.....

Making silly faces for the camera is J....h's latest favorite.
They were such good sports
to put on the gowns for the Doctor.
Aren't they cute!

Both girls are happy and healthy

That Afternoon we attended a Safety Mother's Group. One of the Moms is an EMT and arranged for the ambulance to come. The kids learned a lot and even got to take a turn riding on the stretcher.

Small Farm...Big Fun

When I heard about a farm in Stow MA where you could cut your own flowers for $5.50 I knew we had to make a visit. J....h knows we do not pick flowers from people's yards and collects various types of flowering weeds instead. It was heaven to be able to pick any flower she wanted!!!

Blooming Tepee
Flower Heaven.

J....h got very good with the scissors and collected at least one of each type of flower.

I couldn't help noticing that S.....a is sitting on a rock, Biddy has a grouch face and all of them are holding something to keep them happy....
