June 2006

Written June 11, 2006

It has been a while since we have written and sent
some pictures so here is the Johnson update.

Susanna is now 5 weeks old. She weighs 10 lbs and is
22 inches long. She grew three inches in a month!!
She is in the 50th percent in weight and height and
25th percent in head size. She has started to give us
little smiles and will follow a bright toy with her
eyes and head. She is so precious!

Jennah continues to be a good big sister. Her new
favorite activity is to use the antenna on the baby
monitor as a microphone and sing Susanna songs. Well
I would not exactly call it singing. To use Burke's
description when he came home from work one night
"What is that noise? It sounds like a cat is dying"
Well it is his fault she is tone deaf. Susanna does
not seem to mind. The other night when she was
praying she said the cutest thing. We always say
thank thee for mommy and daddy. Well she said thank
the four, five, six, seven, eight, nine ten. We are
thankful that she knows how to count to ten.

I am keeping busy with the girls. It is surprising
how crazy a day doing nothing can get. It seems like I
get everything half finished and when Burke gets home
he finishes the other half. The weather has been
rainy and cold so we keep waiting for summer. I
participated in our ward's 18th annual spring sing
last night with a double quartet. It was fun to get
back into the swing of things with the ward.

Burke was given a bike from a friend so now he can
ride his for 1/2 of his bus route. He gets to sleep
in a extra fifteen minutes and gets home earlier too.
Not to mention some exercise.

Well that is how we are. We hope to hear how you and
your families are doing. We love you and miss you!

p.s. the beach pictures are from memorial day weekend
