Well we hope everyone had a frightfully fun Halloween.
We had a great time here in Boston. Jennah dressed
up as a cowgirl, Susanna was a baby elephant and Burke
and I went as Napoleon Dynamite and Deb(only Burke
forgot to shave so he didn't really look like Napoleon
oh well)We went to our wards Trunk-or-Treat and also
to some of our neighbors homes. It was truly the
icing on the cake of a super fun filled month. We did
so much.
At the first of the month we went apple picking at Doe
Orchards in western MA. Jennah loves apples and ate
two just while we were at the orchard. I made apple
pie from scratch!
On Columbus day we went to Sturbridge Village. It is
19th century town complete with churches, houses,
mills, farms and character people. All of the
buildings are original and were moved to the location
from all over New England. The weather was perfect
that day and the fall leaves were gorgeous.
We had a birthday open house for Jennah's 3rd
birthday. About 20 people came by for some cake and
ice cream. Our good friend Mary is a professional
cake decorator and helped us make Jennah's cake.
Jennah loved getting presents and cards in the mail.
Grandma and Grandpa Craven sent her a princess dress
and she was so cute.
I got a minivan for my 26th birthday! It is a 2002
Mazda MPV with 30K miles. We bought it in Maryland
and Burke had an adventure picking it up. He had to
drive to Manchester NH to catch a 5 am flight to
Baltimore. Took a taxi to the bus station then took a
bus to the dealership. He then drove the 8 hours home
through PA, CT, NJ and NY. It was crazy but we got a
good deal. I already can't live with out it! So as
you can tell we had a great month. Wished we could
have shared it with you. But I guess these pics will
have to do!
Love you all like crazy.
