November 2006

Written December 9, 2006

Sorry I am a little slow getting our November update
out. It is amazing how quick the Holidays come. It
hardly seems like we had November at all. First
things first:

Susanna is 7 months and has two bottom teeth and loves
sweet potatoes. She is so cute sitting up all by
herself. At her last appointment she weighed in at
16.8. She is in the 75th percentile for height the
35th for weight. Which means she is tall and skinny,
another way she looks just like her Daddy. She is so
content to sit and play that she probably won't be
crawling anytime soon. She is noisy and learns to make
new sounds all the time.

Jennah is so happy all the time. She is our little
chatterbox and right now could tell you all about
Christmas and trees and lights and presents and frosty
the big white snowman!!!! She is so excited to fly
home on an airplane, in the sky, to see Grandma. She
continues to impress us with her artistic skills.
Painting, drawing, coloring, play-dough, she loves it
all.

Burke is enjoying work. He is looking forward to
starting a new rotation in January. His calling just
got changed from weeblos leader to assistant Cub Scout
master. He can be found watching videos and studying
for class at all hours of the day. He takes his
finals the day before we fly home.

I have been a domestic diva(as all women are during
the holidays). I successfully cooked my first
Thanksgiving Turkey, decorated for Christmas,performed
in a choir at Enrichment, made dozens of cookies for
the office bake sale and completed all my Christmas
shopping by the 1st of December. Phew no wonder I am
getting over a cold.

Needless to say we are so excited that Christmas is
here. We love this time of year and amidst all the
craziness have still found time to attend the lighting
ceremony downtown, the Air force Liberty Band
Christmas concert and see Santa Claus. Merry
Christmas to all of you and I guess we will see many
of you soon!
