March 2006

Written March 6, 2006

March is here and things are great in Boston. The
temperature has remained fairly mild and the sun is
shinning almost everyday. The promise of spring is
in the air and with it our May arrival! Only nine
weeks left to go and our little baby already weighs a
healthy 3.6 lbs. I am feeling good-not great- but
I'll take what I can get. Nesting has set in and I am
busy organizing cupboards, sorting baby clothes and
toys, re-finishing furniture and all sorts of other
projects. Burke fills all his spare time reading and
studying for the GMAT exam (for entrance into MBA
school)which he will take in April before the baby
comes. His new "school dedicated" :) laptop should
help keep him on track when he starts a program next
winter. We are really excited about the educational
opportunities here in MA and are busy getting his
applications in order. Jennah keeps us
running-literally. Her latest favorite is "run daddy
run". Jennah lines up with dad at one end of our long
hallway shouts 1-2-3 Go and they are off. Jennah
could run back and forth all day racing daddy but
daddy gets tired. I think it is good practice for
Burke since he will be playing on a basketball team
with his military co-workers this spring. His work is
still going great and he comes home happy each
evening. This last weekend we went to the National
Heritage Museum in Lexington with Mary and Christ
Ward, some Friends from work. The museum had a
wonderful photograph exhibit from the George Eastman
House Collection in New York on display. They also had
exhibits on the Lexington Alarm, Freemasons, and New
England antiques. We had a great time. Jennah had a
growth spurt. I wish you could tell how big she really
is. She grew at least an inch in the last month
because all of her pants are now floods an mini-skirts
are her new fashion. We had to break out the spring
clothes early so she would have something to wear.
Enjoy the latest pics of her. We love you all and miss
you tons!!
