February 2007

Written February 16, 2007

So we finally got some snow here in MA. It came on
Valentines day so we cut sugar cookies, made hot
chocolate and decorated valentines crowns. Burke
surprised us by coming home early from work with
flowers for each of his girls. Susanna almost ate hers
but that is no surprise she will eat anything! She
loves food and we can't seem to feed her enough. She
still nurses full time and ironically her favorite
foods are peas and potatoes! You wouldn't now how much
she ate by looking at her. She is still a little
peanut weighing under 18lbs and content not to crawl.
It really is a blessing. It makes packing much easier
since she just sits in one place and happily plays and
"sings". She is very vocal and aahhs and oohs and
blows bubbles all day long. We love to "sing"
together and even Jennah Joins in sometimes.

Jennah's creativity and imagination is just
blossoming. Between coloring, painting, drawing,
stickers, play dough, throwing "birthday" parties, and
dancing like a princess she is never bored. We are so
proud of our little sunbeam. She loves primary and
each week she reports that she learns about Jesus,
folds her arms and is very quiet. They asked the
children who their favorite prophet was and Jennah
exclaimed "pancakes" her friend Eleni chimed in "ice
cream". When she came home we talked about prophets
and she decided Noah was her favorite. Now when you
ask her who her favorite prophet is she stops, thinks,
then responds "not pancakes I like Noah". She learned
a lot about favorites from primary. She now has a
favorite color-green, favorite food- pizza, and
favorite movie-Areal. She is growing up way too fast.

Burke and I are busy getting everything in order for
our big move in March. We are still very excited and
feel so blessed to have a home. We never imagined
our path would bring us here to Massachusetts or that
once we got here we would stay for a while. But we
know that this is where the Lord has work for us to
do. I am so grateful for the guidance of the holy
spirit and the peace it can bring. We are ready to be
in a new ward have new neighbors and more
opportunities to be instruments in the hands of the
Lord.

We love all of you and miss you tons.
